Young Subaru, in collaboration with Subaru of America, Inc., is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing brand-new, high-quality coats and shoes for children facing homelessness and urgent needs. As part of the Subaru Loves to Help® initiative, this partnership aims to significantly impact the lives of more than 150,000 children across the nation.
On any given night, millions of children and adults find themselves in situations of homelessness and urgent need. Young Subaru and Subaru of America, Inc. are committed to addressing this issue by connecting with local communities. In the inaugural year of this collaboration, Young Subaru and its retailers will organize donation events, partnering with shelters and support agencies to ensure that over 150,000 children receive essential clothing.
In collaboration with Operation Warm, Young Subaru and approximately 630 Subaru retailers nationwide have been matched with beneficiary organizations in their local communities, serving children in need. In Weber County, the beneficiary of this initiative is The Utah Kid Foundation. Young Subaru will play a vital role in delivering coats to The Utah Kid Foundation, ensuring that children in the local community receive the support they need.
Through gifting and drop-off events, children will have the chance to personally choose their new clothing items, aimed at keeping them warm and dry and positively impacting their mental and emotional well-being.
Through this collaboration, Young Subaru becomes a key supporter of Operation Warm, making Subaru the largest automotive contributor to the cause. By the end of the campaign, including historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru will have positively impacted more than 750,000 children and adults in urgent need.
