The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Blanket Delivery - Frankie H
For the past few years, Young Subaru has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Utah Cancer Specialists - Ogden Regional through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. On June 17 Young Subaru staff and LLS volunteers personally delivered these items to local blood cancer patients in treatment. This year, Young Subaru has also opted to support the LLS Urgent Need Program, Pediatric which will provide 5 pediatric blood cancer households with financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc.

Utah Cancer Specialists – Ogden Regional was a joy to work with, and we were so happy they were the recipients of Young Subaru’s donation this year. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another. Fueling Hope: Coming Together to Feed Our Community’s Children - Young S
At Young Subaru, our Love Promise is more than a commitment—it’s action, heart, and community. This summer, we took that promise to the next level by hosting our largest Pantry Pack event to date, assembling 2,500 meal packs for local children who rely on these supplies to get through weekends without access to school lunches. This event was something special. It wasn’t just a donation drop-off or one-day drive. This was a full-team effort, with Young Subaru employees, their families, and community members all coming together to do the heavy lifting—literally. Over 40 Young Subaru team members volunteered their time outside of work, some even bringing their kids along to help. With the support of the broader community, we were able to complete 2,500 pantry packs in just a few hours—each one filled with weekend meals for a child in need. That’s 2,500 weekends where a kid doesn’t have to wonder if they’ll have enough to eat. That’s the kind of impact that stays with you. The energy in the room was full of purpose and compassion. One volunteer had just flown in from out of state and still showed up, ready to lend a hand after a morning hike. It was one of those “wow” moments that reminded us why we do this. At Young Subaru, we're proud to not only support our community—but to stand shoulder to shoulder with them, pack by pack, promise by promise.
Young Subaru Supports Utah Kids Foundation - Joshua S
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Ogden, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Young Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Young Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/27/2025, Young Subaru donated 120 coats to Utah Kids Foundation. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Delivering our Subaru Share the Love check to this incredible organization was a heartfelt reminder of why we do what we do. The Treehouse Museum is more than just a magical place for learning and play—it’s a cornerstone of curiosity, creativity, and connection for families in our community. Watching children explore, discover, and dream within its walls fills us with hope for the future. We’re deeply honored to support their mission and proud to call them a Love Promise partner. "A Tree for Every Drive" – Young Subaru and the Gift of Growing Green - Young S
At Young Subaru, loving the Earth isn’t just a slogan—it’s a practice rooted in action. In celebration of Subaru Loves the Earth ,Subaru of America and Young Subaru proudly partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to give away 100 free trees to customers in the local community. The response was enthusiastic, and within days, every tree had been reserved online. Over the course of the week, families, couples, and even first-time Subaru buyers came to pick up their trees—each one a symbol of a shared commitment to a greener future. The dealership transformed into a hub of meaningful conversations, with customers excitedly sharing why the environment matters to them. “I reserved a tree for my daughter,” said longtime customer David. “We’re planting it in our backyard this weekend. I love that she’ll grow up with it and understand how small actions can make a big impact.” For some, the gesture touched on deeper roots. “It’s more than a tree,” shared Chris., a local teacher. “It’s something that will outlast me. Subaru giving these away shows they’re not just about selling cars—they’re about investing in the places we call home.” Throughout the week, the Young Subaru team helped load trees into trunks and backseats, snapping photos and sharing smiles. The variety of trees—ranging from flowering species to sturdy shade trees—meant each customer found something perfect for their space and climate. Young Subaru’s goal wasn’t just to hand out trees, but to grow something lasting. With 100 trees now in the hands of customers and planted across the region, the effort will leave a visible legacy for years to come. This initiative is just one of the many ways Young Subaru is living out the Subaru Love Promise—to be more than a car company, and to be a positive force in the community and for the Earth we all share.

At Young Subaru, our Love Promise to education is about more than giving back — it’s about building relationships that spark inspiration and open doors. As part of Subaru Loves Learning, we’re proud to partner with the Roy High School Automotive ASE program to support the next generation of technicians. Our connection with Roy High is rooted in a shared passion for the automotive industry and a desire to nurture future talent. Most recently, we welcomed a group of Roy High automotive students to tour our brand-new service drive and state-of-the-art shop. It wasn’t just a tour — it was an opportunity to experience what a future in the industry could look like. Students explored the shop floor, talked with certified Subaru technicians, and got a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern service department runs. For many, it was their first time in a professional shop — and it made a lasting impact. This partnership is about more than just one visit. It’s about stoking interest, building confidence, and showing students that a career as a technician is not only within reach — it’s a fulfilling, valuable path. Through Subaru Loves Learning, and with the support of our incredible service team, we’re committed to growing talent locally and investing in the future of our industry — one student at a time.
Supporting Furever Friends Animal Oasis - Young S
When Young Subaru was selected as a winner for our Subaru Loves Pets display, we were given the opportunity to choose how to celebrate—either with a lunch for our team or by donating $1,000 to a local animal shelter. The decision was easy. We chose to give that gift to Furever Friends Animal Oasis, a nonprofit that works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. This incredible organization runs on love, grit, and the belief that every animal deserves a second chance. Their passion inspires us, and we couldn’t think of a more deserving recipient. Furever Friends doesn’t just find homes—they help create families. Every wagging tail, every purring cat, and every hopeful pair of eyes they rescue reminds us why Subaru’s Love Promise matters. It’s not about what we give up. It’s about what we get to give. To everyone at Furever Friends: thank you for being the real heroes in this story.
