In a dynamic effort to bolster education, Subaru of America Inc. is once again stepping into the role of a champion for teachers and students across the nation. Through its innovative partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru is making waves with the Subaru Loves Learning initiative for the third consecutive year. This initiative, dedicated to supporting educators and their students, is a testament to Subaru's commitment to fostering an environment where both teachers and students can thrive.

Teachers' Unwavering Commitment

At the heart of every successful classroom lies the dedication of teachers who go above and beyond to provide their students with a quality education. Young Subaru recognizes the immense efforts teachers put forth and seeks to alleviate some of the challenges they face. Through their collaboration with AdoptAClassroom.org, Young Subaru and Subaru retailers across the nation are providing educators with the tools and resources they need to create an optimal learning experience for their students.

Young Subaru's commitment to supporting teachers is its partnership with Burch Creek Elementary. This year, Young Subaru is taking the lead by sponsoring the school, equipping teachers with essential classroom supplies, and a valuable monetary donation. This support not only lightens the load for teachers but also directly contributes to the educational journey of every student at Burch Creek Elementary.

Beyond local initiatives, Subaru's dedication extends to larger communities, as seen through its involvement with Camden City School District. This year's Subaru Loves Learning initiative involves adopting all 55 classrooms at Camden High Campus, spanning grades 9-12. The commitment also extends to advancing career and technical education programs at Camden's Eastside High School. By directly empowering educators and students, Subaru is making a profound impact on the educational landscape.

AdoptAClassroom.org's insights reveal a stark reality – more than 92 percent of classrooms have students from families unable to afford basic school supplies. This often places teachers in the position of having to fund these resources themselves. Subaru, in collaboration with over 630 participating retailers, is actively addressing this challenge. Throughout August, teachers at high-needs schools are receiving critical learning supplies through Subaru's support. Furthermore, select retailers are providing school supply kits, catering to specific classroom needs, and a commendable portion are adopting entire schools.

Subaru's partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org since 2021 has generated a legacy of impact. Their dedication to teachers and students earned them the prestigious 2023 Gold Halo Award for Best Education initiative. Last year alone, Subaru and its retailers supported 652 schools and 5,699 teachers across the U.S., enabling educators to select supplies tailored to their classrooms. Retailers also went the extra mile by personally delivering classroom supply kits to the adopted classrooms.
